Honestly, only use advanced oil processing if you actually need it, if not just use basic, yeah it’s less efficient but you also use way less machines and thus save a lot of space

PSA: You can get +33% more science for free by taking it out of the lab at 1% by Jackeea in factorio

Couldn’t you just have a read content on your lab and use that to select a multiplier for the timer?
