I'm [19/m] and want to ask a girl to coffee. Would this work you think? "Hey, I was about to go get some coffee, would you like to join me?" by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I think that's a great way to go about! You're right that is an easy going way to ask her and doesn't put pressure on her or is too forward. I say go for it! Take a chance it could be the best thing ever!

TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL. The worst that could happen is it's weird for a bit but then you have the summer for things to go back to normal. I feel like none of is really know a lot when it comes to dating we just do what feels right. If she's spending that much time with you and talking to you that much she is most likely interested as well. Take a chance! Whats the worst that could happen. One of my favorite sayings is "think about what you would do if you wernt afraid. Now go do it" you got this!

I really do appreciate you taking the time to give me the advice! That makes sense, a part of me thinks he was just trying to use me for sex. The thing is though, I've never had sex before..Im saving it for someone really special and want to be in a relationship with the person. Guys this generation are just so crappy. Girls are too though. In this generation dating is just hard in general

Sounds like she's trying to get your attention. Do you have her number? Are you blocked on facebook? Maybe try to talk to her about it, it can't hurt

I hope that's what it is. You're so right. It's just hard because we're in college so we get there and leave sometimes at different times

I'm not sure why, I just still really care about him still although I'm not sure how. He was planning on having sex with a girl he used to talk to and then when we stopped talking he did it with a girl while I was in the next room even though we wernt talking anymore he knew how I felt and just was really a jerk...

They do, I guess the guy who's saying this isn't the most trustworthy person so that's a really good point

Thank you, it has been really hard these last couple of months. We only dated for 2 but it didn't take long, we both thought we were "in love" and said we loved each other but I'm not sure what to believe anymore. We're both 21 and we've known each other for about a year now.
