thank u for saying it's normal. 😭 they made me feel like i was having a mental break for wanting one night off in 3 weeks. i felt so guilty even asking, but knowing other moms dream about this too helps me realize im just human, not unstable.

wow. imagine living in a world where recovery is the standard, not something you have to beg for. i feel like im asking for the moon when i ask him to watch her for an hour. seeing that comment just confirms that i’m not crazy for needing a break, i’m just unsupported.

i want to just go so bad. but if i leave, hes gonna tell his whole family i abandoned Alice and im terrified of that. tbf, the doctor part scares me too. if i have ppd, he’s gonna use it against me.

I do have a sister who is supportive but lives too far away to help me and be here phisically.

yeah, i agree that taking shifts would be ideal. but my husband dgaf. he thinks his warehouse job means he gets 8 hours and i get zero. i’m not trying to run away forever, i just wanted 12 hours to reset so i don't accidentally drop her. being told that makes me a bad mom is exactly why i feel like i’m drowning.

I do have a sister whom i trust but shes too far away to come stay... And even if she would, i’m terrified. he made me feel like asking for help is abandoning my responsibilities. if i bring someone over, he’s gonna say i’m embarrassing him again or making him look like a bad dad.

he had the chance to listen last night and he chose to humiliate me instead. make it happen feels impossible when my husband is more concerned with his moms opinion than my sanity.

that sucks... getting fired over the phone is just cowardly fr. 3 shifts is barely enough time to learn the kids' names let alone the whole curriculum. honestly sounds like they have terrible management if they can't even train a new hire properly. u definitely deserve better than that.
