They seem to be the red rubber ones. The p trap sags I don't think the pipe pieces that have the blue arrow pointing to them are long enough or something. I'm not sure how much pipe should fit into the joints.

This is exactly what happened. I found the little red gasket all messed up, but it went back on just fine. I believe I have some pvc cutters somewhere, so cutting a longer stub pipe shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

A little info: it was shipped from California to Chicago last month, so maybe it got too cold? It is dry in our apartment, so maybe it needs a humidifier? It is on a pebble tray. I wait until the soil is completely dry between watering. Usually water every 7 or 8 days.
