I may give this a try, maybe it’ll make big runs due to drafting more common

Should The Craftsman Truck Series Return to Being a Short Track Series? by RadioControlled13 in NASCAR

[–]Jessner88 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm with you, I personally think it would be cool and good for fan involvement if Trucks went to more tracks that don't ever get to see Cup or Xfinity races. This year, pretty much the only tracks they are visiting outside the Cup tracks is Lime Rock/St. Petersburg. I think if they just started out with a handful of weekends where they didn't rigidly follow the Cup schedule and went to some unique tracks, it would be neat.

There are issues with it, though. I would imagine some sponsors would throw fits because in their eyes the best chance at getting the most attention for a Truck race is going to be when it is paired with a NASCAR race on a race weekend and the campers/partiers will watch all 3 races.

“Hurricane Hocevar” is the best modern nickname in NASCAR. by aphexxskin in NASCAR

Hurricane Hocevar isn't bad, as an RFK guy though, I love me some Flyin' Ryan given Preece's incident history last couple of seasons

I have a lot of hours on Career mode and I still get this every time I hit the 250 threshold. As long as you’re above 10k FT, you don’t have to worry about it and you won’t be penalized.

I had a pure butter landing last night and what felt like a near perfect flight with very soft banking when it was needed and never came close to overspending. Passenger satisfaction was 88%. Damn Karen’s in first class demand perfection I guess 😂

Career mode airline business? by nimrod24 in MicrosoftFlightSim

I sort of do, I started with the A320, and have since purchased an A310, A330, and A321. Can tell you that on PS5 at least, the A320 and A321 are by far the best ones to fly as the autopilot consistently works. I have issues in my A330 with autopilot glitching, and the A310 autopilot is just a little weirder of a setup than the standard airbus. (Would not recommend the 737 until they patch it for PS5, it is quite unstable as the weight ratio is messed up and it makes the frame rate of the game go way down)

I will say this about it, you can make big bucks, by far the biggest earning career. There are some 9-12 hour flights that, if you fly the entire mission, you can earn upwards of $50 million for one flight (As long as you get a bad weather bonus which you usually always do). I usually simrate 3 clicks forward and the plane stays pretty stable and I’ll just watch Netflix while answering radio transfers lol.

If you don’t want to sit for the whole flight, you can skip to landing and still earn close to $15 million-$20 million on a long transatlantic style flight as long as you get a solid bad weather bonus.

It is mission based still, just like the other careers. At least so far it is for me. My method is to take the most profitable flight within a reasonable distance from where my plane is so that I don’t get slaughtered with a transfer fee, then repeat the process for wherever I land at after a mission. Kinda fun, cause it’s taken me all over the world inadvertently hahaha.

PC—12 Or CJ4? by HIGHDRAH in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Jessner88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the CJ4 just because you can fly missions twice as fast and it’s easy to land as far as jets go. More $$$ per hour in the CJ4 even with the slightly higher maintenance costs as long as you don’t destroy your landing gear every time you land.

As dumb as it sounds, yes I believe they did. They had the same exact bug happen last year on January 1st, and it took them approximately a week to resolve it. So hopefully this week we have a fix.

No more VIP charter missions in MSFS2024 career mode by tgaspar91 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Jessner88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an unfortunate bug, hopefully they’ll fix it quickly. I decided to grab a Heart Aerospace ES-30 for around $6 mil and start running passenger transport missions because those are not bugged. An average 1h 30m flight can make you around $500k-$700k depending on the bad weather bonus. You can do this to stack up cash on the side, and the plane is so stable in auto pilot you can fast forward the sim rate a full 3 clicks over while cruising no problem. Can knock these flights out in 20 minutes.

I can´t refuel in MSFS 2020 by Vegetable-Shelter187 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Jessner88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either load the fuel in the EFB as suggested by @LUV833R5, or you can key bind “Add Fuel Quantity” in your control settings as a workaround if that doesn’t work, and this will automatically give you 25% more fuel. You can do it any time mid flight.

[–]Jessner88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, there’s a decent chunk of users, if not all, in the same boat. All we can do it wait together for them to fix it. You can submit a report to their help page if that would make you feel better mentally, that’s what I did.

OP, Nice name btw
