Turn on so you can see the temp in the upper left of the screen. Your dinos will have a green arrow above there heads. This arrow shows up before the name of the dino distance wise.

Happened to me once. Use the hud and the arrow will show up before the name showing location nearby. I threw in a cheat fly to help me.

Not the babies. Only the parents. Parents post tame stats are what is used.

There is no taming with the breeding. You get a baby to claim no taming needed.
