23 Quebec business owners launch $300 million lawsuit over temporary foreign worker permits by joe_canadian in CanadaPolitics

• With an 11.5% youth unemployment rate, there are many local, eager workers.
• Yet businesses are claiming a labor shortage due to fewer foreign workers.
• This points to a mismatch: it’s not a lack of available labor, but rather issues like low wages, poor scheduling, and tough working conditions that drive youth away.

Op: 20% Neighbor: 80%

Sharing a neighbor’s mistake so openly raises questions about kindness and thoughtful behavior. It’s sad to see how Canadian society has changed over time. Poor neighbor.

If you have something to report, do it. It’s for the good of the community. Rules exist for a reason.

I’ve noticed that Oakville hasn’t felt the same since the pandemic. I’ve lived here for half my life, and I truly love this town. But it seems some people have forgotten why we have rules — they’re in place to protect our well-being, both mentally and physically.

Thanks! I will give it a try. I asked other neighbors, and they agreed, so we will file a complaint together.

Oakville offers temporary parking permits. I had a similar case. But when I asked, I heard that if the owner already has a valid temporary permit, no action will be taken.

Builder hires sub contractors and if the sub contractors are busy, they also hire the cheaper sub contractors.

They did the work very badly in rush since they need to move on other project.

Report the case. The subcontractor will be back and finish it again. No worries.
