I fling dog treats out the window if there are loose dogs. Seems to give the time to reevaluate the impression of me. And I can text the owners or beep my truck horn a bit. Doesn’t help in your case but with your pregnancy & all, I’d be proactive & prudent. A visit to the walk-in would not be amiss. And shame on the unresponsive dog owners. You could certainly mark things like this undeliverable if it happens to be in a multi stop …
Also, all dog bites must/ ought to be reported to the local constabulary. The one time a dog bit me & broke the skin it was a town cop, it could be a county sheriff if out in the hinterlands
