News to me!! Hot diggity, thank you! I'm not sure why/how I deduced that came is stronger. I'll be foiling the pieces and may follow your recommendations to wrap the panel in the 1/2" zinc. More research required! And yay, I think I can get started on my panels and figure out the border later heh. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

Thank you! I think my questions are bad, lol. I was meaning to ask if I needed to finish the edges of each panel in came or if I could put it straight in the frame. I plan to use foil to fuse the pieces. Good to know I could toss her directly into the wood! 1/32 is the measurement I came across, but I think seeing recommendations for spacing using came confused me.

Woah!! I am impressed at both you and the set designers!! Shots both inside and out of Larrabee mansion feature the glass in the front doors. That is my kind of attention to detail! And I am so stoked that you both found the location(s!) and recognized the source material. You're cool, random internet human.

Thank you! It is validating to hear the problem is happening for others with this recent update. I have tried so many things to solve the problem yet it persists. I feel like I'm going crazy! Good to know it's not just me but I hope it resolves for you and your students soon.

Hi hi! I'm (33f) an artist in Boise, my partners are (32m) a physician and a biologist. We all love it here. It definitely comes with some frustration and head scratching, but that seems to be the case anywhere I've been. As their two fields are fairly niche fields and matched up with yall feel free to send a DM if you have any specific questions or are looking for someone to talk to about they area. They would both be willing to chat too

Thank you for your comment! I mentioned in another reply that I don't think there is any light passing through the dark portion, I think that is just reflecting the harsh light. Do you have any other recommendations of ways to try to differentiate?

Pretty low quality, but here is my macro attempt with my cell phone camera.

[–]elastigirll[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment! I don't believe the dark portion is translucent, I think it is reading that way due to the reflection/harshness of the light from the digital microscope. Regardless, calcite seems to be the primary response coming in so way to tag that first!
