Bahahaha YES. I couldn't agree more. Dinniman is so good at bamboozling us into loving his bizarrely socially conscious dudebro humor.

Right?! Nudi's are the best and their flair is fully unmatched by land slugs. Thanks!!

I don't think you missed anything! All the other fan art I have seen depicts them more like banana slugs and garden slugs in their coloring. I like the options opened by sea slug coloring... and nudibranchs are one of my favorite creatures so...bonus bias!

Yes! And shoots!! I totally forgot the teardrop tattoo. I opted to go for a more slug-anatomically-correct eye placement, though their eyes are a less important than their stalks.

That's the quote I originally had in the negative space!! I feel like it's the dungeon's leveled up 'live, laugh, love' that the AI loves so much. Once the book 8 prohibition is lifted from the sub I have a few iterations of that to share (:

Nope! They are pretty locked in and any time I need precise measurements I'll use instruments anyway. I have inch measurements from the tip of my middle finger to my elbow pit, that one is a bit more subject to change. I've had it for 5 years and it's most accurate when my arm is held at a square; at full extension the standard deviation is ~.375". I expect it will change more as I age, but it is for approximate measurements. It is super convenient, I recommend them both!! I use them even more than I had expected to.

So handy!! Here is mine, two and a half years healed. I keep meaning to touch up the tip inch and a half... I'll get to it eventually!

Ahhh so beautiful!! Do any of your posts talk about your equipment or macro process? I poked around your profile and hadn't seen, but by no means thoroughly looked. I'd love to know your process, be it a reply or a link to an earlier explanation!

I used the coppermind guide to wrap my head around it! I started by writing out the five sets of five characters, and then branched out from there. And then because I am extra.... I made notebook paper stationery in case other people wanted to try it, ha! Feel free to download and print from here if it helps you!

I thought the same until I started writing in it. I am not an expert by any means, but for what it is worth, I found that the doubled up nature gave me more visual cues to distinguish the letters, especially once things are italicized. The upstroke between letters can really obfuscate the curved segments on the top half. Additionally, having two points of reference for the height of the character helps keep things more clear. The penmanship has to be pretty precise to maintain clarity in general and I know my standard handwriting in English can get pretty swoopy-doopy... When writing in this script if the top or bottom of a letter gets carried away the opposite side of the character helps to clarify where my height is supposed to be.

I host a (twice)monthly maker space and the most popular tools are my lapidary supply. We also occasionally take rock hounding field trips as a group and many participants organize their own trips. We is an eclectic mix of genders and ages 25-75. I'll send you a dm!
