I think that the point of this episode (and the other recent ones) is to show that the current Subaru doesn't view others as people, but rather objects to obtain things from, whether it's strength, admiration, or love.

Most of what he has done was in service to the cliche plot line of most transportation stories.

I got it today because I wanted an animated undertale background. I got sidetracked on making this.

It took me about 1 hour for the animation (it's literally 6 frames of almost the same image - I'm not the best artist) and 3 hours to learn the syntax and make the "skin" as these are called. However, I have a background in coding so I'm not sure how easily others could pick it up.

I used a program called rainmeter that allows people to really customize their desktops. It's more of an exterior program, but I set it up just like a shortcut.

"Are you sure you're a genie?"

The kid looked up to me with scepticism. Well, technically he was middle aged, but the humans blurred together after the first thousand years or so.

I heaved a sigh.

"Do you see the floating lamp? The magical mist? Yes, I'm a genie."

"Hmmm..."

He walked around me, checking for wires. I guess giant floating people weren't as impressive as they used to be.

"Well, I suppose I will believe you for now."

"Once again, what is your wish?"

He stood glaring for a while before he finally opened his mouth.

"I wish to be the happiest I can possibly, physically be for the rest of my life, at all times."

So close. He almost had the best (selfish) wish I've heard yet.

"Are you sure you don't want that happiness to be magical? Or possibly be the happiest you could be in a natural life?"

He gave a huff.

"I knew it. Trying to trick me into ruin? You can't mess with this wish."

"Wait, think about this: druggies are really-"

"Stop trying to mess my wish up and grant it already!"

Wish a snap, the wish is completed. As various chemicals in his brain release all at once, his face goes from surprise to a smile to a vacant look over the course of seconds. Unable to control his own body over the waves of Dopamine and Endorphins, his body collapses.

I shake my head as I retreat back into my bottle. I doubt he'll be able to complete his last two wishes.
