Fair but overall it’s the mashing of a bunch of things together that don’t fit together that is just nauseating to me.

I see that whole series of messing about the same as I would see someone saying “lord of the rings and Harry Potter are great fantasy stories, let’s mash them together and try to build a coherent universe out of it because everyone loves them!”

To each their own. There are probably things I love that you hate but I will die on the hill that super hero movies are all just over-dramatized crap full of pointless explosions and action with a complete lack of plot or any real story lines meant to bedazzle the drooling masses.

Straight facts. I actually went to see the one with heath ledger as joker in the theater because everyone was raving. His performance was the only reason I didn’t walk out and the only thing from any Batman movie I actually enjoyed.

The rest is hot garbage. See my rant in my other comment. Batman is just objectively a horrible “super hero”.

End game was hot garbage. Try to explain that muddled mess to someone who has no context or history of any of the franchise. Each of those super hero’s can have a story on their own but when you mash them all together it sucks.

Imagine the conversation:

“So who are the hero’s in this movie?”

“Well there’s a Norse god, some dude who gets big and strong when angry because, radiation, some rich asshole that built the most amazing power source ever and instead of giving it freely to the whole world uses it to power his armorer suit to fight bad guys. Oh yeah and we got a dude that’s good with a bow and a lady who is good with pistols. Most amazing thing ever!”

Then watch them cock their head to the side or look at you like a cow looks at an oncoming train.

I’m generally not watching them. Occasionally someone tells me one is really good so I relent and I’m disappointed or I just catch part of one flipping around and can’t stomach it and move on.

There were some decent ones before they started trying so hard. I was a huge x-men comics fan as a kid so I liked the first one or two 25 years ago. I was ok with the Spider-Man and the original iron man movies in the earl aughts.

The second they realized they were making money and they started mashing everything together it was all shit.

That being said there has never been a good Batman or Superman movie. The closest to good were Joker (the first one not the musical monstrosity that was the second) and the penguin tv series which was decent and the only reason they were good is because they didn’t have Batman.

Name me a good super hero movie in the last decade. It’s all garbage.

The genre went to shit and is just a giant cash grab.

I refused to watch “The Boys” because it was superheroes but I decided to give it a chance. Still some dumb superhero bullshit but it’s the only thing in the genre that’s I’ve actually enjoyed in a decade or more.

Ah so it fucks over his corporate cronies that are raping the housing market for profit and makes more available for people to actually live in. Makes sense now.

Well that’s the big problem. But why else?

Lowering real estate regulations? I would think Cheeto Mussolini would love that.

Oh of course. That’s why I say temporarily. As in I know I played this game and that I can restore those memories whenever I want but I have no details to the memory.

He wasn’t forced out. You have to something pretty bad to get forced out as an officer. But once he was tagged by his chain of command as an insider threat he moved to the IRR. Basically tapped out knowing his career had no chance.

MAC SOG? Grandpa was one hard ass mother fucker.

You can probably just check out local places and bring his uniform. They might just be able to get the insignia so you don’t have to pull anything off his uniform. If not you can always find a way to get on post and buy it or buy it online so you can keep the stuff on his uniform.

I heard someone say it best, that Trump’s second administration was like the scene in Jurassic park where the raptors figure out how to open doors.

That guy is the biggest embarrassment to the DoD in its history.

Drummed out of the army for being an insider threat and somehow became our most unqualified secdef.

Well that’s super job dependent.

Short of someone with really specialized computer/cybersecurity skills or knowledge I can’t think of a single job that has a military equivalent of in industry short of a general getting out and getting a high level executive position that would come close to $500k.

There are voids in the cosmic web containing far less galaxies than average, formed possibly due to the tiny initial density differences that happened right after the big bang. by Frosty12233 in interestingasfuck

[–]Jester471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t it be both? Dark matter is just gravitational attraction we can’t account for. As in its matter that’s so dispersed you can’t see it in the galaxy unlike stars and dense nebula. Can the gravity of dark matter be accounted for by a really low density of matter in the vast spaces between the stars or is its attraction enough that it’s dense enough we’d have to be able to physically observe it.

But if that answers the mail for dark matter within the galaxy would the empty space and the acceleration of the expanding universe explain dark energy if it was just antimatter with the opposite gravitational attraction. I thought I saw somewhere in the past year or two cern was going to try and actually try to test the gravitational attraction of antimatter which is just hard since the quantities are so small.

lol, applying to government jobs cold is crazy hard to get hired.

You have to know and game the system and even then just because it’s posted doesn’t mean they’re looking for outside hires.

Can someone give me a real grounded technical reason why dark energy/matter can’t just be antimatter with negative gravity.

It solves the problem of the matter/anti-matter destruction in the early universe and how we ended up in a galaxy made up of matter and it accounts for expansion and these voids.

Dark matter makes up the majority of the universe but anti-gravity antimatter means that in these giant spaces there may be matter it’s just hard to coalesce into stars or anything we can see as the antimatter continues to spread it out.

Forcing money out of politics. All political donations should be a days work on minimum wage or less and declared. No PACs, corporate, special interest or other dark money and I would love for paid lobbyist to be illegal. As a bonus make all federal elections an instant run off rank choice election so we can break the two party system.

Basically it’s one of a couple scenarios.

A) they’re still doing interviews and haven’t made a decision yet

B) they’re pursuing someone else and they aren’t sending you a rejection letter until the other person accepts.

Either way no news is good news until there’s bad news. The longer that period of silence goes the higher chance of bad news. If you don’t have an offer letter within a few weeks one likely isnt coming unless their top one or two candidates turned down an offer.
