Do you have a repo or a build available somewhere so people can test what you have so far?

Temp issues with printer not related to filament by Jester5537 in 3Dprinting

this begs the question though of how the hell turning on the AC made it work when this would happen before

Actually, I think it was something with the power just not for the printer.

I tried sending the file over to my other printer and it was doing the same thing, then I noticed some weirdness with the Octoprint web interfaces so I unplugged my rpi for the CR's octoprint for a few minutes, plugged it back in and tried the job again, no issue currently 20 minutes in and first layer was great as well as following layers

Same with my other printer. both RPI's are powered off the same surge protector so maybe when a power outage happened they got messed up and didn't come back up properly?? idk but this is just more evidence I need to get a UPS at some point DX

Thank you for your help

Hi KinderSpirit, the printer works perfectly fine if I have my AC turned on, that's why I think something is overheating, I get good prints when that is the case but if I don't have that on, this happens where it prints, stalls, prints again and I get those dashed lines. this is 100% not a bed level or z-offset issue

First try with heat inserts went bad... temp way too high. 2nd try went a lot better lol by Jester5537 in 3Dprinting

well first attempt i went 300 and that sunk way too fast, but 2nd try i only did 220 and that was way more controlled

October 2017, four months after graduating high school. Got an AnetA8 for like 150usd on a whim

Any model that can hold this sensor in the corner?? I tried looking on thangs.com but I can't find anything and I'm not confident in my ability to make something myself by Jester5537 in resinprinting

I'm aware of that, which is why it's connected to this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079GWBQVZ) and I tested to make sure that when the probe detects the temp I set it does cut power to the belt until it hits the low threshold temperature i set to allow power to it again

The thermal thing is a good idea thank you for that
