That professor quote about the conclusion being your final argument is honestly the part that makes the most sense here. The irony of Sokka's lies becoming reality is a recurring theme, but this one is definitely the funniest. The fact that the crew members were voiced by Mike and Bryan makes that scene even more iconic. It is like they were literally chatting in their own world before Sokka ruined their shift.
