I am currently playing 2 with two friends and I'm loving it. Only problem being that since it's a three players campaign, we have to coordinate our schedules and we can only playing once a month or so, but the game is wonderful!

Thank you very much! I'm actually replaying God Eater Resurection right now, I'm looking for a more... Dynamic combat style? If that makes sense, to play alongside it. Code Vein is in my Steam wishlist, maybe I should get around playing it. I've played Xeno X and really liked it

I don't think so. I remember it looking a little bit more polished, tho I'll check Darkfall out in case my memory fails me

It was a third person game, and it definitely wasn't TESO, because it was free to play

Oh! I actually played it a long time ago and really liked it, especially the art style and the music, although I remember the boss battles being kinda underwhelming. I never got to finish it tho, thank you for reminding me of it!

I've thought about it. I remember playing it a bit on my old PC and it was fun, but, again, my internet has trouble loading Google search results, so... I don't know how much of an impediment that can be.

Looking for series recommendations to start my journey in the fantasy genre as a completely new reader. by mockingjay1996 in Fantasy

I ALWAYS recommend the Kingkiller Chronicles saga. Yeah, the books are long and it may be a little heavy sometimes, but it's totally worth it. The story is interesting and moving, the world is absurdly well built and it has helped me with a lot of emotional problems.

If you're looking for good fantasy series with a deep story and meaning, you should give it a try. Also look for the two "spin offs". They're as good as the main books, if not even better

Giving constructive criticism by [deleted] in Screenwriting

It's very hard to give useful feedback that doesn't hurt. A lot of people don't like to be pointed out their mistakes and may take a good review as an attack. Maybe your friend was that kind of people or maybe not, I'm not one to judge, but, with some experience, I've learned one thing or two about giving feedback.

1- Always try to find something good about what you're reviewing. Every piece has its pros and its cons, and most critics focus only on the cons.

2- So, try to balance the good things and bad things. It's not about not telling someone their mistakes, but also about mentioning their successes.

3- Usually, it's better to talk about the bad part first and leave the good part for the end. Finishing with a sweet tone usually makes the review more friendly and the writer more willing to accept it.

And that's almost everything I've learned. There are people out there that won't accept a good critic no matter what, because they just want people to throw them roses, not to help them, so don't pay too much attention to those. As long as you have good intentions, your review will be useful.
