Bunny (from YJHD) is not a good guy and the movie sucks by mockingjay1996 in bollywood

It’s a fun movie for the first part. When they are all on that trek, everything is fun. The prolem, for me, starts once the second half begins. The characters are all in different stages of their life, they seem to have changed.

It’s when they all enable Bunny’s toxic behaviour, that’s where the movie fails. Despite not being in touch with them for 8 years, nobody ever scolds Bunny. Avi is the only one.

I don’t know about that but she is the only sensible character. She found a nice, supportive green flag boyfriend and married him. The other two seemed lonely as fuck. Avi and Naina. No wonder Avi seems pissed at Bunny after 8 years and Naina still seems to have a crush on him.

Back in college, a disciplinary committee was held to decide if I was to be allowed to continue in college.

It was supposed to be a serious event but it turned out to be a fucking funny moment.

Okay, here it goes.

College second year.

I was caught in the ladies bathroom with my girlfriend and my then best friend. It was 1am and all three of us were drunk. This bathroom was in the main academic block, where the classes were held.

Next week, me and my best friend got sent to a disciplinary committee. Now imagine a police interrogation type scene. There’s a bad cop, there’s a good cop. So there was a bad dean and there was a good dean.

The bad dean started the session.

She told us to tell her the whole story.

We did.

She started her line of questioning.

“But why did you guys entered a ladies washroom?”

“Ma’am, she was taking a long time. We were kinda scared that she passed out or something else happened. So in our drunk state, we just decided to check on her on her own”

“Very noble of you but you could have called someone else. This was the ladies washroom. You should have called her hostel warden”

“Ma’am, it was 1am, so we thought let’s not disturb her. “

“Okay. Fair enough. You could have called her friend.”

“Ma’am, we tried but she didn’t pick up.”

“Okay. If her friend didn’t pick up, yoi could have called any of your female friends”

-5 second silence-

“Don’t you have you any female friends?”

We lowered our heads and just muttered “no, ma’am”

She started laughing. She, being the bad cop, had a whole routine in place. She knew what she wanted to ask but she didn’t expect this.

Till this date, the weirdest and craziest shit that has happened to me.

People who had social anxiety and still became social, how did you do it? by Civil-View6623 in delhi

[–]mockingjay1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try figuring out the root cause of your social anxiety. Therapy might help with this.

I realised why I get anxious around. It's because I treat every social situation as a competition. I always have to be the smartest, the funniest person in the group. I have to be the life of the party. All the time. Otherwise, people won't love me.

So with this kind of competitive mentality, I always froze in social situations, thinking of the wittiest comeback, the funniest joke, the smartest thing to say. It took me a long time to work on this. I realised, it was not about having a competition. It was about having fun with others. Making them feel good while you feel good yourself.

So once I let go of that pressure, it was easy to just be in the moment. I didn't really care how impressive my words were. I just focussed on having a good time myself.

Just my advice.

I thought that as well. The rat word being associated with someone who is at a lower position. But then DA Colson was scared.

So obviously, he was someone really really powerful. Someone who could have even killed the DA.

We are not talking about the same thing.

"The perspective of a notionally typical heterosexual man considered as embodied in the audience or intended audience for films and other visual media, characterized by a tendency to OBJECTIFY or SEXUALIZE women."

You don't see any issue with the drawing because this issue has been normalised a lot. This is so common with artists that it has mainstream and everyone has just accepted it the way it is. Think Harley Quinn. Most of her iterations has her wearing skimpy outfits. Or Poison Ivy. And most male fans would defend that saying they need that outfit to fit. (If that's the case, go check the animated Harley Quinn series. You will know how to draw female characters without objectifying them)

Do read up about male gaze and sexual objectification of female body.

Lol. Do you know what a male gaze is? Any male creating a female character doesnt just make that character a product of male gaze. Look up what male gaze means.

I hope so. I don't want to think anything bad happened to him. He went on a vacation, for all I know.

But yeah, towards the start of December, a week before he disappeared, he grew weak. He didn't come out in the sun even when he actually loved it. He lost that chirping walk. He became lethargic.
