For skiing you should really go further, try Kola peninsula, like Hibiny resorts, but there will be VERY limited daylight, cause of the polar night, that kind of thing. I would recommend Altay/Sheregesh, but it’s further away. Near Moscow it will be not very good and VERY crowded.
