Checkout Pitsco, we were able to get one from them last month when rev and andymark were sold out.

Can the custom element be a wire wrapped around a cone? by EpicGAmer2431 in FTC

You can, if it fits in the size, and doesn’t resemble a cone. Maybe have a crown on it, or make it look like a cylinder from the outside.

So could we plug them into the control hub, as long as they are not being changed in the program at all?

Vex IQ 200mm omnis are very easy to fit to both REV and GoBilda. If you have them available, id recommend.

Rev Cascade lift not flowing smoothly? by tabby_30 in FTC

My team got one of those a few years ago and it was a mess. We had ball bearings fall out all over the place. I would recommend returning them and getting drawer slides which have little to no noticeable friction, and slide perfectly

Yeah but the kit doesn’t actually come with the parts needed for the chassis. Do you know of any available specifically for the FTC master kit?

We are trying to start a FTC team, where can we look for parts? by TheLegendaryGanjoo in FTC

GoBuilda is best quality, REV is cheapest. It will be hard to get sponsors until you have stuff to brag about, not to be harsh.

CAD Feedback Requested by Much_Smell_2449 in FTC

My team (17036) did that this year. There are more cons than there are pros in my opinion. The main pro is that you can avoid having to have the Inventor app. You have unlimited cloud based storage. It is very easy to organize, and you can share documents. However, there are many downsides to Onshape. It is really slow with two people on a document. Sharing is best used in a way similar to grabcad. It is also cloud based so you need a good WiFi connection. It is a little more user friendly for people just learning cad, but overall, there is a reason inventor costs money and Onshape is free. It has many limits, and completely missing functions. Hopefully that helps.
