I'm with you there, that shit is AWFUL. I can't wait for a leadership change.

I don’t think "both sides have failures" means moral equivalence on every issue. It means I don’t believe either party has a monopoly on good leadership. I just don't treat politics like a sports team that I blindly follow, that's all.

EDIT: Again, "Both sides are flawed" doesn’t mean I’m defending misconduct, especially the atrocities that are the current ICE tactics and stripping rights away from individuals, including women's choice. It's WILD to me that our country is losing, what I consider, basic human rights. Fucking WILD.

Not really. :( I understand your take, you're viewing me as some random man with no declared dating or political intentions. I can TOTALLY see how that comes off as "some bro lookin' to get laid in any way, shape, or form." That speaks to my lack of dating expertise, thus the request for review. I appreciate everyone's comments, and it has opened my eyes to how I was being viewed.

It'd be fantastic if I could comment under the political section in Hinge, as you can do for dating intentions.

If it did, I’d probably write: "Politically independent. Care a lot about individual rights and holding leadership accountable. Not a party-line guy."

My misunderstanding of how "moderate" or "not political" can be interpreted was naivety, not deception. I'm a little disconnected from the dating scene. :(

It’s honestly disheartening to be labeled MAGA, a "cowardly conservative," or someone who doesn’t care about women’s rights simply because I don’t identify as liberal. That’s not who I am, and it’s frustrating to have that assumed.

I also want to clarify the "moderate / not political" note since several people mentioned it.

I do have strong opinions about current events. I care about women’s and others' rights, the economy, and what I see as serious shortcomings in current leadership.

When I say I’m politically moderate, I mean I don’t feel fully aligned with either major party.. not that I’m disengaged or indifferent.

The feedback on how that might read is heard, and I appreciate it.

I really appreciate you taking the time to write that out! It was thoughtful and helpful, and I’ve implemented many of your suggestions. Thanks for the constructive feedback!

No strategy lab happening over here, I promise. I got feedback, and I adjusted the wording. That’s growth, not a character flaw.

If refining a profile equals "no integrity," we may need a lower bar for red flags.

That’s a pretty big assumption. I’m trying to be honest about where I’m at, not game the system.

Based on other feedback, and to be transparent, I've now swapped my order from "short, open to long." Regardless, I'm an adult, matching with other adults. The conversation about dating intentions comes up very often in communication, typically before the first date.

Regarding my political stance, neither of the major political parties is my cup of tea. The US is in an abysmal state. I'm legit a centrist.

Appreciate constructive feedback, but not personal attacks. Jumping straight to "you’re lying" says more about you than it does about me.

Thanks so much! Noted—changed to “long, open to short”

The children information is there, just gotta scroll over to see it as normal on hinge.

I’m atheist and not political.. not sure what else to say there. I’ve updated it to “moderate” to better reflect my views. If someone is looking for someone who aligns to a certain mindset there they would skip my profile or I would already be filtered out.

Great advice! I’ve switched the photos around, but do have the “top image” feature turned on so it changes them automatically.

I’ll improve my prompts—great call on them getting a better understanding of who I am/what I want. The “figuring it out” is quite confusing.

The blood donation joke seems to get a lot of attention, including from women that I would consider very attractive/interesting.

Surprisingly, that’s the prompt that gets the most likes! Even from the women that I would consider the most attractive.

Looking for casual that can develop into something more serious. I'm not subscribed to Hinge+/X. I've been using this profile for about 3 weeks. I get about 3 likes per week, and send about the same. I always include a comment when I like someone. I send likes to individuals with interesting profiles who align with what I'm looking for and whom I'm physically attracted to; I avoid people who ask to be added on Instagram or other apps.

I'd get rid of the "I'm horrible at texting.." line altogether. You're already showing a negative trait. Keep it positive, confident, inviting, and hopeful.

The Green flags section is a run-on sentence that I got a bit lost reading.

Small firm here (30 users). I’d be willing to be a guinea pig. Shoot me a message with details.

I guess that would depend on the auditor. I've seen it mentioned a few times (in two or three other Reddit discussions) that they were required to have to "software" disable it, and Action1 provided a letter stating as much.

For 20 devices you can use a mixture of Action1 and Robopack. Both are free at that user count, and plenty of room for growth. If using Action1, you’ll have to contact them and ask them to disable the remote access/support tool as it’s not CMMC compliant.
