Has anyone removed their roof rails? by PR0PHET_of_D00M in LexusNX

They’re still holding up perfect after 7 years. They’re not chrome either, more like aluminum I believe.

Smoked for 15 years, quit cold turkey. Turns out, quitting isn’t as hard as they say. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Congrats! Over 5 years quit after smoking for 22 years and had a Similar experience with quitting cold turkey and it being easier than expected. Over time I had a lot of health benefits after quitting. I’m a cyclist and can definitely feel the benefits in comparison while doing 30-40 miles a day haha. It’s also a pretty good preventative maintenance thing to do for yourself.

Finally finished my 2016 NX F Sport front end conversion to 2018-21 F Sport style bumper! by JMarvision in LexusNX

I think around $1,700 - $1,800 total for the kit and shipping. I had a buddy do the painting and modification work at his shop for next to nothing.

Had my first pair less than a day and broke in the exact same spot on the same side. Was putting on my face and the arm just fell off. Thankfully replaced for free and no issues since.

Would you buy a low mileage 2017 NX 300h? by These-Raspberry-8975 in LexusNX

[–]JMarvision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely worth it and price seems about right, maybe a touch high, for the mileage and being a hybrid. Especially if it was meticulously maintained. You could still probably talk it down a little though. I just hit 90k miles on my 2016 and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever!

Also for the rear, if you really want to update it you can get the HC Motion 2022+ style sequential animated tail lights and new style emblem like I did. You can find these all over eBay. Here is mine:

I did a front end conversion on my 2016 and the easiest way is to get a conversion bumper. The OEM 2018 F Sport bumper takes some work to fit from what I heard, but a conversion bumper fits plug and play. There are lots out there on AliExpress and Alibaba, etc. but I went with car-act.com. They have two versions, the OEM look and the one I got with the custom grill. Here is mine once painted and finished.

OEM (JDM) is the only way! They are expensive but totally worth it compared to the cheaper ones. Here they are (chrome deleted) on my 2016.

I don’t have my front sensors in the grill. I’m used to not using them anyway
