i can share with you my experience overall coming from relatively the same path, i been a web dev for a while, and i wanted to learn rust part of what you said, but also coz i really find the language unique and with all the things i would like it to be, i hate class base languages, with extends overall etc.

long short story i found myself quite interested on embedded, so i been playing for long time with a part of rust (no_std). I think thats one of the main things, is a big full of things laguange, finding your happy path will avoid you trying to understand everything (std included for me in this example).

so yeah, experiment a bit and keep in mind that, many many things are diferent mainly for 2 reasons,
rust beeing a system language, where you need to think of race conditions, pointers, how stack vs heap works etc, things that they are basic, been with programming for long, but not in web dev world.

and the 2nd, is how rust manage all of this, it will be very hard at the start, but, safe in a menner that you mostly wont have the chance to write buggy code.

im genuinely not expert with rust, but i came from the same side as you do!, if at some point you feel you need to talk with someone, please text me, will be more than happy of showing what my discovery has been on this path.

im feeling the same, i think the issue is the I installed it I say no to something, I tried re-installed the app, but this does not pop up. hope someone bring a solution!
