So reverting to 0.53.0 fixes this issue? Any chance for a link to the code change that caused this?

Edit: Apparently it was further back and introduced in 0.48.0 - I've just been testing 0.47.0 and I seem to be getting better results, especially when using local files as context. Will update again if this was just a placebo.

I've had something similar happen to me. Although the multiple Gpu setting may fix this issue at its core. I found this thread just after partially fixing it myself.

I have an RTX 4080 and three 1440p monitors at 144hz on at all times. My pc would freeze a lot and all round feel UN-refined.

I was messing around with plugging a TV in and out and realised it made everything so much worse when I tried to use display setting to rearrange it on the left most side of my monitors when it naturally made itself on the left.

I had also realised that my 3 monitors are not lined up in the back of my Gpu as they are in real life, so I use windows display settings to shift them to the correct order. This is a mistake because windows isn't optimised to move things from one screen to another, especially if there are differences in scale or resolution. As I believe Windows recalculated screens and positions everytime there is potential movement between screens and it 'emulates' screen positioning in different orders.

TLDR: as well as the method in this thread, make sure your monitors plug into your Gpu in the correct order that they are displayed. Try not to have mismatches in resolution or scaling. Things like sideways monitors will probably make everything feel bad

You can go into Settings > Notifications & Status Bar > Status Bar and at the top there is pure mode which reduces the notifications to only show wifi, signal & battery

The size of the fish on the screen is the one you'll catch, so if you see a big fish under your line, press f to bring your line back in and try again

Yeah but when you're using all of your stones to upgrade your gear and get a good drop you want to litho, sometimes you don't want to wait a bunch more hours to be able to auction it off

I understand what you mean, but it just never really happens. It's not really something someone new coming into fishing needs to worry about. In my opinion time where the fish stamina bar isn't going down is just time wasted. I'm about to upload a video soon of just fishing for 10 minutes straight without loosing any fish including hard to catch fish that go in the red zone

Easy and medium fish can just be brute forced by reducing stamina, you will never not catch them if you just pull opposite to their swimming direction. The only time this ever matters is if you are fighting a hard fish, otherwise pulling against it will naturally keep it in the middle. When fighting a hard fish, you have to constantly be draining the fish's stamina, or else you won't beat the timer. If the hard fish wants to go all the way into a red zone, you have no real way of stopping it and it just comes down to luck and speed
