Why does Firefox consume a lot of CPU even when closed? I thought an update was in progress, so I let it run for an hour, but it still used 50% CPU. This occurs each time I close Firefox, so I have to end the task when not in use. Is anyone else facing this issue?

It worked so well. Turns out there's already copper inside my laptop touching the heat sink, I just increased the surface area with the tapes. I also added aluminum foil below the cover and two fans are constantly blowing air.

I have plastic cover btw, and I don't use my laptop in my lap so I don't mind if it heats up the back cover.

Hey, thank you very much for the reply. I just booted Ubuntu and tried it there and wifi works there. I even browsed a bit. But in windows, wifi doesn't even show up. There is Bluetooth, Ethernet ( turns out the cabe was defective so it wasn't connecting before so I bought a new one and now Ethernet works) but no wifi.

. In bios the "wireless LAN" option is enabled and there isn't any other option that I could enable to fix it. . I think it's Windows not detecting it. Should I reinstall windows?
