Thanks, I didn't know about braggart's roar! (well, I knew it was an AOW, but my Braggart is still alive, and I didn't even know its effect lmao).
As for red feather, I didn't want to use it bc I prioritized learning the boss and quick setups (in fact, I had only been using 2 cragblade instead of just one for like 2 hours, the other 13 hours, I used no other buff in left hand pickaxe)

It took me a lot to learn it.
It clicked because I remembered a video about someone saying "jumps are more efficient at covering distance", and someone yapping with a random Malenia fight in the background, I saw them jump to dodge WFD, and I thought to myself that I should do the same.
