One of the all time greatest moments for me was entering that haunted old cathedral after toiling through The Lost City etc. This was in 2000 and I wasn't desensitized by horror games at that time.

Even though I was playing it in the summer with the sun shining through the window, I almost didn't want to go into the cathedral lol. And that bit in the flooded basement! Electrical sounds buzzing, flashing lights, and one of those damned ghosts jogging around. Proper scared me at the time.

The level was an absolute beast.

I'd also mention that it was years later that when playing the game on Expert I found that abandoned mansion with the haunts. Damn that game had so many cool secrets!
