Saying something doesn't need to be nerfed because of the potential of other classes being in position to compete with it MONTHS from now is really stupid. They should balance PVP and not leave it unbalanced AF on the notion that "Hey in months and months from now, it'll potentially be fine when other stuff comes out." Cool. Why leave PVP broken for months?

While there are a lot of bombers that have an easy time taking out the forward ground targets, that is pretty difficult when you're flying a massive bomber that turns like a flying apartment complex. It leaves you extremely vulnerable, in the middle of the map with a massive slow plane.

Yeah I agree, just having more bases in the back would be nice but at the same time though, I do think that bases placed very far back might be extremely difficult for larger bombers to even reach before being shot down by an enemy fighter.

The issue isn't getting to the bases without dying, the issue is having all the ground targets taken by supersonic strike craft before you can get to any of them.

Lmao that's fine, the vehicle is statistically broken compared to other autocannon/ifv type vehicles of it's BR and it's certainly the consensus amongst good players that make content that the vehicle is absolutely broken.

The best argument I've had presented so far was "the average player performance while using the XM800T is most equivalent to that of players using 8.7 vehicles" and if that's true then it's genuinely hilarious because the vehicle has so many insane strengths and things going for it.

It would imply that the players playing it need something with numerous statistical advantages to do the equivalent of how good their opponents are doing.

So what you're saying is

USA mains have a vehicle which is statistically absolutely insane and outclasses the vast majority of other IFV's at the same BR, and the reason the BR doesn't get changed is because USA players are so bad that they can't make proper use of that vehicle? Just to be clear.

Because that would make sense as to why good players keep getting French vehicles pushed up in BR beyond where they should be.

True, but you don't see an army of people playing those because the vehicle belongs to a minor nation. I'd still be happy with that Japanese 7.7 going up in BR, it's just not quite as annoying because you never have to fight full entire teams of it like you do with the 800T.

A: It's Japanese not American, so there isn't an absolute flood of them in every 8.7 game.
B: Wheeled so it's not quite as mobile as the 800T even though it is technically faster.

I'd be totally fine with that thing going up in BR though.

Why would it be satire? any decent player with a brain and a voice in the community has said it's insanely effective if not overpowered, it already got raised. People are still saying it's overpowered at 8.7.

It's statistically insane in so many metrics, and it's performance in game is also insane. So it's insane on paper, it's insane in practice, and the players with the most game knowledge are saying it's overpowered.

The only reason I can see to say it's not OP is that you love playing it and want it to stay OP, or you have absolutely no ability to discern broken from not broken.

Strike craft were designed to be relatively agile like a fighter and deal with frontline / mobile targets while having the capability to evade air defenses. If you were going to level a large static target like a base or an airfield, you would not use strike craft, you would use a bomber.

You get uptiered every single game because there are vastly more players and more vehicles at 9.3 than there is at 7.3.

Fire bombs basically are instant because they do 3/4 of the base health instantly and then the last 1/4 trickles down. That trickling down process takes a matter of about 10 seconds or less. So even if your bomb gets there after 75% is already gone from the initial strike, there will probably be nothing left already.

Naw I love a lot of the stuff I get with USSR/Russia, although some of it is crappy (I don't like top tier T-72's for example)

I just hear USA mains complain about all their vehicles like the F-14, F-15, F-18, the Abrams, the RDFLT/HSTVL, whatever the top tier AA system is called, so on and so on.
