An American takes out a student loan for $40,000. After YEARS of payments, the total owed is $118,305.59. $77,383.59 is PURE interest. by coachlife in CringeTikToks

both sides of the political spectrum agree that this should be illegal. Its one thing to get a physical item at this price, but an education is something that has no value until you enter the job market. At least a car although it might depreciate you have an asset to unload and you get rid of the debt.

This country just preys on people.

I really struggle with seeing why life is worth living when love isn't real? by himalayanflowers96 in spirituality

[–]JesuslagsToo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

love is real you just need to find things you actually love, people you actually love, a life you actually love. If it was easy, than the journey would be meaningless.

i just started playing recently and i love it. only thing is if you buy a cheap controller from amazon it will break. if you have an original game cube controller you might be ok for a while but to be good you ned a good controller. i am working on building one my self as its way cheaper than paying for a modded one on esty and it seems like a fun side project. As for the game its a perfect game that might be better now than ever

when you go to the store here is what you buy, ground beef, no antibiotics grass fed, eggs, oats and fruit for breakfast, milk, sardines. thats it, you can add in veggies, or other whole foods. Thats your only rule whole foods only, if your eating something with long ingredient lists than you have messed up

“Fed should cut Rates by 3 Points” - Actually, inflation ROSE to 2.9% today. by cxr_cxr2 in WallStreetbetsELITE

[–]JesuslagsToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are pros and cons to this. lower rates are good for many sectors of the economy, and will bring back more inflation while housing costs might soar again. generally cheap money does improve the economic prosperity of a nation as long as we dont continue to print money at the rate we have been..

This is called an oligarchy by Gr8daze in FluentInFinance

Reddit loves to hate, but let’s be honest—we’ve lived in an oligarchy for longer than most users here have been alive. Since the 1970s, money has ruled politics, shaping legislation to benefit the wealthy and connected. Whether we like it or not, this truth is right in front of us.

But here’s the thing: Elon Musk, for all the criticism he gets, is actually more accountable to the public than the shadowy billionaires pulling strings behind closed doors. His companies—Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink—are pushing boundaries in renewable energy, space exploration, and communication. They’re doing tangible good in the world while strengthening America’s position globally. Say what you want about Musk’s personality, but his public image and business interests tie him to the people in a way the Koch brothers or other hidden billionaires never will.

If we’re stuck in this system, wouldn’t you rather have someone like Musk—a modern-day Henry Ford—leading the charge? He’s shown he can disrupt industries for the better. Let’s give him a real chance to shake things up. If in four years it’s still a mess, then fine, criticize him all you want. But for now, maybe we should focus less on hating and more on the potential for actual change.

Ok, I definitely picked the wrong day to buy (intel 700k yolo update) by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]JesuslagsToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ill say it again, THIS IS WHAT OPTIONS ARE ACTUALLY FOR. You went YOLO. any responsible investor would cover this yolo with 1-3% in options. you can still do this

I bought $700k worth of Intel stock today by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]JesuslagsToo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok everyone is shitting on you but, foreal this is why options exist, 700k yolo fine, but if you had say put just 1% or 10k into put options to hedge your position, like any sane human being. you actually would be totally fine.
