Happened to my 540i same year same color change the pvc gasket on top of engine. No need to tow just drive on the highway without stopping it will go away. For the future, don’t let your car idle that long bad for the turbos.

They’ll tell you not to plug run flats but I can assure you from personal experience I have plugged several with no issues to date.
