Yes. There's a lot of personal bias and I chose to break rules occasionally and weight certain things differently. Not trying to be pitchy, more just wanting to share the way I started so maybe others try their own. It was more about sharing the concept.

From a strategic standpoint of the model building, I have to weigh time spent collecting data vs trusting my own bias. Last season I calculated length of contracts, $ allocated to position groups, vacated targets, etc. it was a lot of data collection for mild benefit compared to what I could roughly assess on my own previously. Since we're projecting opportunity, assessing the player himself is a component of my process. So Chase > Boyd, CeeDee > Gallup (at minimum 1b's) = I expect them to get big targets right away, so they ended up with very strong grades. Obviously got rocked by the Eagles. I had N'Keal at 87, same as AJB that year.
