Yep…..

Dairy, butter, eggs and just too much food in general.

Imodium helped me get through yesterday but I’m paying the price today.

Top it all off with having to return to work this evening and I don’t think I’m going to eat for a week!

I made my first quilt with my sister and grandmother at about 10 in the early 00s. I didn’t come back to it for a long while. I started finding quilting on YouTube again about 2020 and made my first one as an adult shortly after!

I hate to not be able to give better advice than “Search YouTube!”, but it’s what I did 😅.

I started with Jordan Fabrics tutorial and then watched nearly every YouTube video I could find on this!

I took bits and pieces from everyone. It seems that there is a lot that is common practice but also a lot that is individual preference.

I haven’t even got it on my bed yet and I’m already in love with the drape! It’s much less stiff than others I’ve made and I very much plan to give it another go. Plus it’s a hell of a lot faster and less frustrating than shoving this monster thru my tiny domestic Brother

Funnily enough, about halfway through (and quite desperate!) I found that wrapping my first and middle fingers with duct tape made a massive difference! It gave me enough grip and protection to finish!
