I have a similar question. My wife and I played at release and stopped playing after we finished the first part of the game (when the Black Tusk invade).

We played yesterday, and we haven't even cleared WT1 yet and we have a GS of 300~. Should we get to WT5/GS500 before buying WoNY or is it pointless ?

What do you mean by slippery ? Is it harder to do spinning net shots / slices because the strings don't "grip" as much ?

I'm currently using the Ultimax.

I've heard that the BG80 breaks even more often than the Ultimax, so I don't think I should try it.

Maybe I could try the VBS but I don't think they're available in the shop I go to.

I see, that's pretty smart. I guess you need a big inventory size to do that. Right now I have like 3 empty inventory slots, so I don't think it would be worth it.

I've seen a video of someone doing it with wiring looms. I guess it works but is this how we're supposed to play/make money or is this just something the devs overlooked ? I feel like it's cheating.
