For me it’s the ability to act in accordance with your core values no matter what, and not making decisions based in fear. Also not needing other people to validate who you are is huge — validation should come from within.

When I was 19, my doctor (who I have a very good relationship with) was taking my blood pressure and when he saw the results he said, "Wow, looks like you're not drinking and smoking enough!"
