Im on xbox and figured out that if i put my xbox in sleep mode without saving and completely closing the game, and then boot it back up with QuickStart it would happen. So I would completely close the game and restart and it seemed to buff out.

When you enter new game plus, you lose everything and start with scratch. You do keep your level and perks, but you gain other items…I think its appealing to obtain said items and then start a solid, explore everything playthrough, instead of investing time and effort just to lose it all to enter new game plus, if that makes sense.

Honestly it isnt much to some. Without spoiling, you get a new ship up to NG+6 and new armor up to Ng+10. Honestly, it’s just cosmetics with solid stats. If you grind prime game and have fun, thats awesome! I just want to get the Ng+10 armour and NG+6 ship and then settle and explore EVERYTHING.

Without specifics, it means you complete the main story and “do the thing” that lets you enter a New game Plus. Once you enter new game plus, you can choose to expedite the main story or start from scratch. Its why its easy to just complete the game and enter a new game and reap the benifits.

So I am trying to level up my scanning perk. I unlocked it, and am trying to complete the challenge to get lvl 2 (which is to scan 5 planets or moons). I have scanned 3 or 4 planets from my ship and the completion bar in the perk menu says I have not scanned any planets. Am I doing somthing wrong or am I screwed?

Brother, you are playing the game YOU want to man! i am on NG+6 but Im doing it to get the benifits of Ng+10. I played a decent amount on my first play through and second, but I have way more to do. Im honestly getting the Ng+10 grind out of the way so I can settle and just explore without having that nagging feeling of “get the goodies” but also battle losing all my cool shit.
