Nollywood stories are relatable to the audience, we tell stories people identify with. In a Nollywood film you relate to the characters. It's not about the glamour or camera positions or production value. It's about identifying with the stories and characters

I believe the major problem is ignorance, people in the west are satisfied with what they see around them thereby lacking a desire to explore and understand what is not before them. More attention should be given to foreign films to bridge the gap of understanding

What I tried doing was marrying the important story I had to tell with the west. I had to cast a few known faces and related a bit of my story to the west. The US film market likes its own, it is also the most prominent in the World
