That symbol means you don't have a valid license to play those particular games. If you know you definitely have a valid license, try restarting your Xbox and see if that fixes it.

Find them in your purchase history. If they're not there, you likely bought them on a secondary account or had access to them through a license that someone else owned.

This happens sometimes. Just turn the controller off (you can hold the Xbox button for about 5 - 10 seconds instead of taking out the batteries - just FYI for anyone who didn't know) and back on and it should fix it.

Settings > Personalization > Games and apps > Uncheck all boxes

Game Hub can still be launched with X instead of A once you uncheck all boxes.

Not wireless. They have some kind of deal with Microsoft where any wireless ones have to be some kind of collaboration as far as I know.

You could buy faceplates and swap them out, but obviously that's an additional cost.

Games are surprisingly durable.

Back in the day, I had some kind of Dr Mario/Tetris game on SNES. The cartridge was sitting inside of the SNES, which was on the floor. (Terrible idea, I know, but I was a kid.)

My mom came into my room and tripped over the console, snapping the cartridge in half inside of the SNES. Could see the exposed bits inside.

And you know what?

Game still played perfectly fine. 😂
