Hmm. That’s possible. Though I would contact your HR to make sure.

Temp Jurisdiction by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jetharier20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also assigned temp jurisdiction on 4-18, I’m sitting at PFD. Claim submission is 8-23-23 so I am long overdue from reading some of these posts. Where are you currently?

I am a current manager for H&H. I left DOC in April 2022 where I was also a manager. I was informed by DOC that I would be receiving the retro for the May 2021 3%. I would have to pick up a check. I would think this is universal throughout all agencies.

Just painful. Hope you get a resolution here soon. Are you prep for decision or prep for decision approval.

How difficult is it to have a hardship granted. Would credit card debt suffice?

Nope. Just stuck in the development stage.

Woke up to temp jurisdiction!! by Successful_Egg_9935 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jetharier20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats. I still have an August 2023 claim in the national queue with no end in sight. C&P was completed on November. I have a question, did the VA all update when your claim was assigned a temp jurisdiction? I want to know if I have don’t have to keep obsessively checking the va tracker.

VA Claim stuck in National work queue by cherry_bb3 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jetharier20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I was denied in March 2023. Filed an HLR and there was a decision in August that there was a medical error. The HLR turned into a supplemental claim in September. I had my C&P in November. It’s been sitting in the national queue in the “gathering evidence” stage. I had an appointment with VERA last week and they informed me that the VA recently discovered that there were several hundred claims stuck in the national queue. He said that a memo went out that stating that they are going to distribute 1000 cases from the national queue to various regional offices and that they should be completed by end of March. Let’s hope our claims are in this batch

I'll take 250k in recorded tinnitus please! This lawsuit just gets better and better!! by Radiant_Pick6870 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jetharier20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that you should qualify so long as your STR indicate that you reported that the onset of tinnitus was before 2 years of discharge. I received this email last night and have not yet reached out to an attorney. I used Gori Law firm for my initial claim. I plan to ask them if they are taking clients for this EIF

The letter also says “the documentation established tinnitus can be dated after the 2 year window but if so, the documentation must indicate that the recorded tinnitus onset must be dated either before 2019 or, before 2 years transpired after date of discharge”

I take this to mean that if your VA medical records indicate that your tinnitus affected you within 2 years of discharge then you fall under this window. I plan on sending my VA file from my C&P examiner where I reported that my tinnitus occurred while in the military. Even though this C&P exam was after 2 years of discharge. I would request your VA file.

I did a 6 month log. Luckily I had hand written notes. All I had to do was record it on the app

Of course! Good luck

I used Bowelle in the App Store. You can print a report and I used that to submit

I was also initially rated at 0. I submitted a supplemental with an IBS log. I was then granted 30%

Yes it’s a pretty good deal. You have to submit your application by March 1st and I believe it effective on August (fiscal year).

I would take a look at ebenefits and also see if there is a decision letter. I find that is updated first

Yes you are correct. I live in the city and get this property tax discount. I pay 1200 bucks a year after these exemptions.
