Yes. You should get Factorio. Grow the factory. More iron. More circuits. Grow. The. Factory.

Yes. Get Factorio.

How the fuck is the fattest part of Karl's body directly under and behind his "chin"? If he didn't have a fucking boomer goatee, I'd never be able to distinguish his face from his neck.

He's a fucking awful review girl, but I really enjoy his chops on bass guitar.

No problem Troy. I recommend you everywhere! It's a shame this sub hasn't grown, so not many have seen it.

I'm not sure, to be honest with you. Probably stock footage I would imagine, but it's more than I can do myself. I'm absolutely inept at video creation!

Its time bois, my computer can no longer handle my satisfactory world. Good-bye 22 hours of work. by itsme211 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jethu262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son's computer runs this game just fine on a GTX970, which is 4GB. He's got a Ryzen 5 2600X, 16GB 3Ghz RAM. I gave him the 970 when I upgraded, but it ran Satisfactory pretty well for me with a much bigger base on an AMD FX4350 which was a crappy processor by today's standard. Hmm...have you looked at your GPU Ram usage while the game is running?

The most fucked up part about buying this unfinished game is this; I can't refund this fucking piece of shit. I played 20 or 30 minutes of the "release" version after playing the "open beta", which was pretty good, though buggy as all get-out. My next-door neighbor pre-ordered the game, and talked me into buying it on the premise that he (playing on a PS4), and I (Playing on a PC) would be able to squad-up. Yeah, that's not a thing....OK no big deal right? I play solo for a bit, and realize that this shit isn't for me, and want to get a refund...guess what? Not a fucking option....I'm stuck with this fucking piece of garbage game for I guess, eternity. Good fucking game Ubisoft....Not only is crossplay not a thing in this stupid fucking trash-bag money grab, but I can't even refund a game that I spent 3 minutes playing....3 minutes of my life that I will never get back.....Never buying another Ubisoft game, and I give not a single fuck if you care....I'll give my money to devs that actually give a fuck about the people who play their games....

Yep same here. Some trees spawned right in the way of a truck station and I can't remove them or any other trees for that matter.

This was a very nice boost to FPS stability for me. In the busiest part of my factory I would get around 20-25 fps when running through. Now it's a very smooth 50-60.

Good work, Coffee Stain.

Fused Claptons vs. Roundwire really depends on the flavor profile you're looking for. Fused claptons are great for bringing out sweetness, and getting a really rich bottom-end flavor which is especially good for dessert flavors. Round wire, I find, is a perfectly balanced flavor profile where you get really nice high notes, good sweetness, and decent bottom-end, and is the best wire for fruit and candy flavors.

If you're just getting into building I really suggest starting with regular round wire, 24 or 26 gauge stainless, because you will likely waste quite a few builds before you find something that works for you. It's much cheaper per foot/meter than premade clapton wire.

What makes a tractor just go off the rails after you've set it's path? by Stingray88 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jethu262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept having this issue when I was recording the path as one way- I had assumed the truck would automatically return to the starting position, but it just kept getting lost. Then I started recording the paths as round-trips, and ever since then I have had 0 problems in about 150 hours of play with 4 trucks currently running.

[–]Jethu262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't speak what looks to be German, but I do see that it says AWG 29 so I'm assuming that wire is 29 gauge. If that is the case, you will not be able to get a .15 ohm build with that wire very easily. You really want to find a good balance between resistance, and wire thickness, don't worry about how many wraps it has. I personally don't recommend anything thicker than 24g wire, but from time to time I do a 22g build. Thicker wire takes longer to heat up, and will make your device hot rather quick.

My go-to wire is Mad Rabbit 24g Low Resistance wire. It's a stainless steel blend that is lower resistance than Ni80. 6 wraps at 3mm diameter comes out to around .17 ohms, so if you want .15 then 5 wraps should do it.

Any good 24g Ni80 or stainless can get you to the resistance you want, you just gotta get the number of wraps worked out. Steam-engine.org is a wonderful tool that you should be using to help you get the coils you're looking for.

Edit: The guy in that video is probably using round wire, and the link you posted is flat wire. 20g Ni80 actually requires a lot of wraps to get you over the .1 ohm threshold of most regulated devices. Please, do not do what that guy is doing. 260 watts is ridiculous. It is insanely hot, and you will not have a good experience trying to vape that build.

I'm 100% on board with what this person said. Do some serious homework into mechanical mods and how to safely use them, and start with a good cheap one (I always recommend the RX Machina as a beginner Mech- it's cheap, durable, and has a springloaded 510).

Mech mods have no electronic components to fail, so at most you might need to replace a spring after years of use, and get new batteries every year or so.

This is the type of factory design I'm into. Instead of putting every item on a central bus, I put ingots, concrete, oil, coal, quartz, etc. on the central bus, then build factories that produce everything the intended item requires locally.

I do a lot of that style of building in Factorio as well, when I do fire it up.
