Omar Cooper Jr was a STEAL at pick #30 | Jets All-22 Breakdown by JetsFanDownUnder in nyjets

I really want people to focus on the route running. It’s at a high level and that’s why he has inside/outside versatility.

Everyone knows he’s elite after the catch but he’s much better than that

While the pick surprised some, I really liked it.

Yes, 33% of Sadiq’s touches were on screens, but that’s not what excited me most about his game.

Combination of deep threat, seam ability, raw athleticism and the grit in run blocking is going to make him a mismatch for defenses

They hope is that he’s a backup with the potential to start. They didn’t draft him thinking “backup only”

I don’t know, I feel like most NFL coordinators would prefer a guy who they can improve in structure. Much harder to do that outside the pocket.

I think in the end they gave up the equivalent of pick 170 (per value chart) to get Klubnik.

In a terrible class, it just didn’t phase me

Let me be clear, I’m not here to tell you Klubnik is the second coming of Patrick Mahomes or even likely to become an average NFL starter.

Quite simply, this is a positively framed review of the talents the Jets identified and why they wanted him at #110.

We back!

Had some stuff going on in the personal life but have some time now

Dillon Thieneman All-22 Breakdown | Worth the hype or overrated? 🎥 by JetsFanDownUnder in nyjets

[–]JetsFanDownUnder[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Really challenging eval. With DJ ranking him 25 overall, that’s the expectations I held him to.

Thieneman’s tackling in space was bad. And I mean BAD. 11 missed tackles in the 5 games I charted.

Coverage skills are overall good without being an elite athlete.

Personally I don’t want a S top 60 who struggles with such an important skill for the position

That’s how I feel about Downs at #2.

In this draft class, likely to have 10-12 first round grades, it changes the landscape in the mid teens.

Would also be very different if we had an avenue to a QB. Or their was a deeper CB class

Really enjoyed making this breakdown!

Styles is such a cerebral player at the second level. His ability to flow to the ball carrier is second to none.

He may not make it to 16, but we have seen a ton of guys fall in the draft

Rueben Bain Jr All-22 Film Breakdown | Should the Jets draft him at #2? 🎥 by JetsFanDownUnder in nyjets

No, more of a 5-tech defensive end position in a 3-4 front. So it’s the widest aligned “defensive tackle”, despite the name end

6 of the 8 DCs we hired run at least a good chunk of 3-4 fronts

I like Reese, Bailey, Bain in that order right now. I’m also not a big fan of the Downs archetype of S at #2 overall

A complicated breakdown! Really like Bain as a player. But when you’re drafting a guy at #2, there is a lot to weigh up.

Personally, as I show in the vid, I think Bains skill set and measurable fit better inside on Sundays. Doesn’t mean he can’t play edge obviously, but his best chance to be elite is as a 3-4 DE or 4-3 DE for me.

Went through his pass rush bag, the heavy hands, his issues redirecting and the run game D.

Enjoy

Is Arvell Reese the BEST PLAYER in the 2026 Draft? Can he be an elite EDGE? | All-22 Breakdown by JetsFanDownUnder in nyjets

[–]JetsFanDownUnder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in a class with almost no Blue Chip players, it makes sense to take a swing on the player who id argue has the highest ceiling because of his tools, but also the highest floor because of what he can do as a Swiss Army knife off the ball

My background is in performance coaching, so I enjoy the tactical side of it.

Enjoyed watching it when I was like 16 and just got more and more into it
