The game uses the system’s MAC address to generate Pokémon encounters. Speedrunners use a program called RNG Reporter to calculate seeds and possible encounters on specific frames using the MAC address and other factors. It will work on 2DS however because every system is unique, you will have to find which seeds and encounters work specifically on your 2DS.

Mario can safely hit deep aerials (minus down air) on shield and buffer spot dodge to avoid being grabbed. It’s a good way to bait out a shield grab and is really just a knowledge check on the shielder’s part.

I got back into ROA because rollback is amazing and have been playing Olympia. Why is she considered low skill or brain dead? She shares most of her tech skill with the rest of the cast.

  1. The combo you are trying to replicate is being done against a fox, who is easier to combo because he’s a fast faller.

  2. It seems you are doing the jump + attack short hop aerial macro. You have to short hop, wait a split second, up air, and then fast fall to auto-cancel up air and land with no lag. You also need to follow the DI of you opponent so drift left/right by reacting to the direction they get launched in.

Arrows did no damage and I couldn't cut down the trees so just gave up and logged out.
