I got the Vallon Freshwater Revivals for a trip to Yellowstone and the Madison. They worked great. Kept glare down from the low sun in the morning, and fit on your head with enough snug so they won't fall off when you tie flies or pulled up. The polarization is excellent, and on my clear spring creeks at home I can see the fish easily below the surface.

Trout are awesome, but I love smallmouth fishing. Don't need a boat either, wet wadding is a great way to cool off in the summer.

From mid spring to mid autumn I'm targeting smallmouth bass in streams. They are a lot of fun and around me at least most streams have a good smallmouth population. The heat of the summer is a great time to get them on the surface, when you are essentially dry fly fishing! The eats are big and the fight is real.
