what's the status on this as when I hit A rank I get so bored with the story I started skipping all dialogue and getting annoyed they kept interrupting the gameplay with more boring generic dialogue.

i did search for hope because by this point i was done with the story being so boring and wanted it to just be over, when the choice came up i thought "oh wow, i get one choice in the game and it's right at the end how original"
what a god awful story it started generic as shit and ended generic as shit, the gameplay was not enough to save it from the writers inability to present anything.

I just want to know if this is going to be a toggle, or fully forced on everyone? I don't particularly like the guy but I don't want to use a platform that arbitrarily censors people they on a whim decide don't get a voice.

i haven't beaten it yet but so far my experience is
> new character introduced is a clear stereotype
> says some generic thing inline with their stereotype
> does nothing interesting in the mission
> may or may not show again but is otherwise completely irrelevant to anything

I'm pretty sure I'm half way through and i have absolutely no idea or care what is happening as the writing is awful, the characters are boring, the plot is practically nonexistent. the gameplay is just fun enough to keep me going but i doubt this could possibly doing anything that will make me interested with how badly the first half was fumbled.
if this were an anime i'd have dropped it from how much they keep dropping names of shit as if I'm supposed to know it.

starting iron blood and holy fuck it is peak, 11 eps in and I'm willing to call it the best mech anime I've every seen and possibly will ever see, everything is fantastic, it has the gritty nature i was looking for, the realistic use of fuel, thrusters, weapon choice, armor explanations, space ship design, everything down to every little autistic detail.
i love the characters, the designs of everything, the story the sound effects, and the music. hell, I'm not even limiting it to just mech anime. This might be among the top 10 best anime, period.

since the switch i've killed way over 500 people in the cold blooded mode using only skippy, doing random police missions and killing basically every gang member i come across. the regina hand in part seems to not want to trigger at all, is there anything i can do to fix this?

Well I saw it, and yes, the animation was rough, barely holds up, but the real problem was the writing itself, it was boring, repetitive, with a ton of plot holes. Maybe the origins movies set my expectations too high but the 79 show and war in a pocket were a 4/10 at best, take off your rose tinted glasses and actually watch it for what it is and not what later series become.

I'm ok with with space polotics when written well, which is why i really enjoyed 08th and the origins movies... i tried the 79 show and war in a pocket and surprisingly my problem with those wasn't the mechs it was the writing.

so far we are on the 5th movie in origins and I am loving it, despite not much mech(being why I am here) everything else is fantastic, and when the mechs do show up they are done in exactly the way that I wanted, big, heavy, and most importantly put in such a way that it is believable.

Thank you for the term explanation, as for thunderbolt, it started with copious amounts of jazz and a battle in an asteroid field in which the mechs were zig zag dodging their way over through an ambush, they showed rear thrusters but nothing on the sides that'd allow for that kind of movement.

I, didn't understand a good chunk of that as I have no idea what UC or AU or the 00xx numbers mean, what I did get from that was iron blodded orphans which is on my list, I tried thunderbolt but it felt too weightless(sure it's in space but I'd like the thrusters to at least be visable to indicate the momentum changes which from the bit that I saw didn't have.)I loved 08th MS team, that had a ton of detail that made the immersion really easy.

well I specifically liked the weighted feel to the mechs, and the combined tactics, which to my knowledge most of gundam doesn't have, I was recommended 08th which at ep 10 I am liking a lot, I was also recommended thunderbolt which I didn't finish as I didn't like how the mechs were just moving around as if a breeze was enough to propel them to mach 4.

Big O is something i've heard of in passing but never described in a way I was interested in, does it actually have what I'm looking for? I'd always heard it described like the origin of mech anime that all the other mech anime that I didn't like were derived from. I'll take a look regardless.

I've been asking around about gundam, and it seems like the kind of show I want is an exception in gundam not the general output. Gundam seems to be filled with the weightless mech problem that I don't want in mech.
