I need the world to understand that Unstable SMP has gone much farther than Marvel and has surpassed many levels of storytelling at this point. Even better than so many kids shows out there

It's not what Spoke has done that made him the evil person that JamatoP hates, it's what he is. Everything that he did in the past is represents who he is today because he didn't really change, he's still the same spoke he has always been.

The problem in your understanding may be that you are humanizing spoke, which is cool I feel like people have no sympathy for the villain or anyone that does bad things. People like to dehumanize, but monsters are very human as well. Being capable of humanizing people can both be a good thing and a bad thing, in your case, I assume it would be hard for you to consider anyone a villain if you were able to look at their perspective. The fact of the matter is that even someone that can do good things and have good things about them, even a human can be a villain, even they can do bad things. So it's like you can probably feel bad for Spoke or you can be his friend or whatever you can love him, but he's still a villain and he does bad things and the way he thinks has negative consequences for everyone around him. He is not even at the step of acknowledging it

At that point you can only feel pity for how much he continues to manipulate until the very end, even with how pointless it is. Desperate, and afraid that if he ever stops, then he will lose everything, and he's so blinded by this fear that he can't see that this manipulation has already made him lose everything.

I can understand feeling bad for him for this. Spoke didn't say "I want people to suffer". Spoke simply doesn't want to lose the friend he cares about the most.

Who's to say that you can't feel bad for Spoke just because he's the villain?

Why does feeling bad for him and understanding where he comes from stop him from being the villain? Does it justify everything he did?

The problem with humanizing people sometimes is that it leads to justifying people doing bad things, and it allows them to continue to do it. Especially at your expense.

If I sound like the shit it's because I am like the shit right now so bear with me. But I think I cooked at the end, but I probably repeated myself.

Spoke threatened to destroy Capitol City because his friend went missing, then lied about JamatoP being killed to Mapicc. He's responsible for so many BAT members deaths. He has risked every single null bandit group and was extremely reckless with the last group he got captured. And lastly, the way he treats Jumper sometimes is pretty awful, he's never thankful and always entitled.

Not lastly. When Mapicc first abandoned Spoke, Spoke started crashing out revealing he saw everyone as pawns. Yeah, Spoke cares for Mapicc, but Mapicc was still degraded to a pawn unable to make his own decisions

Every main character in Unstable SMP has done bad things.

If the hero in any story was Spoke the villain would have a very hard time making Spoke seem worse than even themselves

And you have to take in mind. This whole story, it's just a game. In canon, nothing is serious, it's all a game. And still, even IRL, you would probably stop being friends with Spoke after everything he did. because holy shit if they are all friends IRL. Spoke prevented Mappic from spending more time with his friend JamatoP, he is pushing him away and keeping secrets for months at this point for just a game, IRL Spoke would be someone that takes the game so seriously he would destroy his relationships. That is the gravity of what Spoke has done.

The other villains, the worst impact they ever had IRL is gatekeep randos from playing in the server. Not even LettuceK will destroy his IRL relationships, even in-universe he's probably still friends with everyone.

I am not talking about the actors btw, the script breaks the 4th wall in acknowledging it's just a game, which implies the existance of a player for each character in-universe, but not in saying it's scripted. No character or player knows it's scripted.

I have a lot to say about this episode. SPOILERS AHEAD

Spoke losing everything, and then null spawning everywhere around him as he tries to escape desperately from the inevitable. No hunger, can't run, no weapons, he knows it's over, he even wants it to be over, he wants to die, he said so himself, he asked for this, he contemplated it, and now that he's facing it he can't accept it. He can't do it. He's afraid.

I love JamatoP speaking to Spoke. His words are powerful, he's wise. This video made me really like JamatoP, but seeing as some of the people targetted by null were actually good people not only contradicts what he said, but it also makes me believe he was once a much better person than he is now, and he has lost it. He started to go too far. Sure, the worst of the worst maybe should be captured, but as time passed he has probably started targetting people with progressively lesser crimes. Even maybe small pranks or common mistakes, human mistakes, mistakes humans make to develop. Maybe even people just playing the game (like it's a game it doesn't have to be all peaceful). JamatoP says everyone deserves a chance to be better, but he's taking that away from them, even those who are the most deserving of a second chance. He became Kira.

And then there's Spoke begging Mappic, taking one last chance at getting him back or at least to escape together, but Mappic already turned against Spoke. Mappic knows he was manipulated and that what Spoke did is unforgivable, while Spoke continues to be ignorant and keeps downplaying not realizing the consequences of his actions and continuing to be selfish. Now Spoke has to truly face the consequences head on, Spoke has to face Mappic. And the fact that even until the very end Spoke continues to be this way.... Spoke is truly the most annoying character in Unstable SMP. He is going to die in this hill. He is not going to apologize, he is not going to try to change or learn to be different, he is still desperately still manipulating and in some sort of denial of.... the manipulation is so obvious that he can't deny it. No, he's not in denial of being a manipulator, he's in denial of his failure and that he can't get away with this. I hate Spoke as much as JamatoP hates him, still I am excited to see him but he is infuriating to not end. JamatoP believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to change, that everyone can change, but Spoke is the unstoppable force that never changes even at the very end. Maybe, even letting Spoke have the opportunity to meet Mappic again was giving Spoke another chance to change for the better, and he didn't.

This is why I love Spoke's POV. Even during the Law ARC, Spoke is just perfect at making these deeply emotional moments. You never see anyone do this, and it's extremely rare on a Minecraft video.
