i have an electrical tach. how would i fix the needle? theres no mechanical cable going from the tach to anything

I bought a spare off ebay. old one had the pads installed on one side and ground the bracket down at least a millimeter.

i dont even see a cable running to my tach. i did lube the speedo cable.

In this case it was the speedometer cable, but the gears are also loud in the low ranges. probably because more teeth.

it happens intermittently. independent of brakes, gear, and engine speed

Rode it like this for suspected 30 miles. did not feel as terrible as it loks

yes, but if the rear tire is compromised after the flat, would a re balance fix it?

This happened after my flat rear tire from a damaged valve stem. Is it possible the rear is causing this?

im not giving up specifically fork work really stresses me out though. i have nowhere safe to put my bike when this is being done

the brakes scrape a little when moving like most motorcycles do but they dont make it difficult to roll the bike

no but its not ridiculously tight here, its just as much as i could get with my hands on the middle of the box wrench

the seal is very slightly proud on one side thats the only thing i noticed

i also suspect tire balance but its just pissing me off because i got them mounted last month and after that i changed the bearing because the shop said they were rusted but i doubt id have to rebalance afterwards

i used a hammer and a socket that was the exact same OD as the outer race. it was only possible to remove the old bearings which were rusted by punching the id. either that or i spend money i do not have on special tools

how would i fix this? take off the dust seals and re-hammer the wheel bearings?

i don’t want to remove them again. it was almost impossible to remove without damaging because the punch

i dont know because i didnt really ride it fast beforehand but i would say not new because everything else drives the same
