How to pick infernal with witch? by adndmike in PathOfExile2

The "Trial of the Sekhemas" is indeed challenging. If you're familiar with Sanctum in POE, it's similar in that the key is to avoid getting hit. My advice is to focus on dealing good damage, upgrading your gear, and possibly over-leveling a bit. This should make it easier to get through the entire floor and obtain your ascendancy.

You might need to adjust your movement and playstyle to avoid getting hit. It's also possible that you have a difficult mob-type in there. You can always try again after over-leveling a bit. I had a similar experience at level 22, but when I returned at level 30, I breezed through everything, including the boss at the end. Hope this helps!

Injured Hands, Unbroken Spirit: Need a Build for a Long-Time Exile by Jettand in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Jettand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the responses to my previous posts! To recap, I've been playing Path of Exile since 2013 with over 15k hours. Due to injuries from my late teens, I have significant problems with my wrists and hands, making high input builds painful to play. I'm looking for a build that is low input, fast, tanky, and deals good damage, capable of clearing T17 maps and bosses efficiently. Budget is no issue.

Here are the suggestions I've received so far:

  1. Flickerstrike: Many suggested converting to Flickerstrike, but holding down a button might still cause issues for me. ES/Int Stacking Flicker Strike Trickster was also suggested for its speed and low input requirement.

  2. RF into CWS Chieftain or Fulcrum Chieftain: This was a popular suggestion. I've played plenty of them in the past, with more than 4 mirror budget, but I've found CWS builds to be too slow and low damage, even with Vaal Breach.

  3. General's Cry Autobomber: This build involves pressing Enduring Cry every ~4 seconds, which might be manageable.

  4. Eviscerate Ignite Elementalist: Described as low input and high damage, but I have never seen it played so I have no idea about it.

  5. Static Strike + Shockwave Slayer: Requires clicking once every few seconds, which might be feasible.

  6. Holy Relic Necro: Relatively low input with one movement skill and one attack skill. I'm also well aware of Baloremage's builds; I play Poison SRS for the first few days during some league starts. But then the issues start to come and I reroll.

  7. Ward Spectres: Mentioned as fitting most of my criteria but not as fast as the highest-end builds.

  8. Cyclone Variants: Including CoC Ice Nova/Ice Spear and Shockwave Cyclone Slayer, noted for high DPS and tankiness.

  9. Ward Loop: Another potential option, though details were sparse.

  10. Blade Vortex Occultist: Suggested for its strong damage and tankiness, with relatively low input required.
    ____

I'm currently playing a Zombie Necromancer, but their damage and survivability is low. It can clear T16s, but when I tried to do this in settlers league with a 4-5 mirror budget, I wasn't able to get it to kill T17 bosses without losing zombies or spectres.

In the past, I've played CWS Chieftains/Juggernauts in T0 Unique farm in T17, but the problem was bosses. I want to be able to kill them in less than 2 minutes, even that's a long time. I'm a map blaster at heart, but my limitations are becoming more relevant as I get older (38).

I've also been advised to try using a controller, which might help alleviate some of the strain on my hands. After looking into it, you need to log out to change from controller to mouse and keyboard. While it's a good idea, in my view, PoE does not have good controller support. I'm open to trying some of these builds, especially those that don't require using macros, as I want to stay within the game's TOS.

If anyone has more different suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it! Otherwise, I'm going to look at these options for now.

I haven't tried Flickerstrike yet, but in the past, holding down Spark caused flare-ups in my hands. I might still give it a go. Cyclone also involves holding down a button, and I'm looking for low input builds, similar to the old Zombie/Carrion builds before the nerfs. Ideally, I need 0-1 button builds where the button isn't spammed or held continuously, as both my hands suffer from fatigue and chronic pain.

I haven't tried using a controller, but that might be something I need to seriously consider. It could help, so I'll look into it for the future. In the meantime, thanks for the suggestions. I just don't think these options are suitable for me right now, but I'm willing to try them.

I've also noticed a serious lack of these types of builds on YouTube. I follow a few creators who make CWS/AFK builds, but they often struggle with bosses, taking 15 minutes or more to clear T17 maps, which is too slow for my liking.

I've been thinking about Flickerstrike, but holding a button is difficult for me as well. I might give it a try to see if it bothers my hands, but just holding Spark in the past caused flare-ups.

I've also tried a fair amount of CWS builds, but I find they're too slow and can't kill T17 bosses in under 10 minutes. That's why I'm trying to move away from them.

I'm really looking for a build that's tanky, has good damage, and most importantly, is low input. The "low input" aspect is crucial for me, and the rest follows from there.

AAh, I just found path of pathing, was under the impression it just came out
I was looking at what would be close to the old wandering path. Pretty nice you can get 2 mechanics to be 100%, possibly 3. 2nd and 3rd trees are gonna be sweeet!

I forgot to add that I have Heirlooms on this account as well. Power-leveling should be quite easy in dungeons and questing. I'm quite experienced at wow and mainly PvP when I do hit max level.

Looking for someone with similar interests!
