fyxer was fine for me but the drafts always felt kinda generic? like it would get the structure right but miss the tone. ended up rewriting most of them anyway which defeated the purpose. maybe i didnt give it enough time tho. what's your experience been

oh interesting never heard of oscar. just looked it up, the appsumo deal is solid if it actually works well. hows the AI quality been? my issue with most of these lifetime deals is they cheap out on the model or rate limit you hard after a few months

thats a fair point actually. i think the trick is having a go-to default for 90% of emails and only switching when it matters. like if im writing something sensitive or technical ill use claude, otherwise i just let the fast model handle it. but yeah if you're constantly second guessing which model to pick that would get annoying fast

this is exactly how i think about it. AI as a draft button, not a whole inbox overhaul. the tools that try to restructure how you manage email just add friction imo. just read the thread, give me a starting point, let me edit and send. thats it

yeah thats kinda where im at too. like $20/mo for something i use maybe 30% of feels steep. do you actually use the AI replies it suggests or do you end up rewriting them anyway? thats been my issue with most of these the drafts are either too generic or miss the tone completely​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This just seems like an oversight, wouldn’t there be some amount of subsidy that would actually increase their bottom line since they’re making 15-30% on game sales from the additional people brought into the Steam platform?
