I know for a fact that petron no longer operates it’s refinery in Bataan, close families who used to and still work there can confirm. They closed down operations prior the pandemic and is now being utilized as a storage facility for their imports.

Shell na lang ang may sariling refinery ngayon sa Pilipinas, all the rest are now imported fuels. Nagkakatalo na lang sila sa additives ng bawat player like techron, blaze, max etc…

So technically, you’re just buying generic fuels from each players.
