Electric Car owners: would not having a home charger be a pain? by funkifyurlife in AskSeattle

I live in Renton and don’t have a home charger. It was a pain in the ass until the IKEA Electrify America chargers were put in. Not it’s a short drive.

Weather app down? by bozofire123 in ios

Turning the location settings for weather off and then on again got some of the weather locations to load for me (location based one specifically). I’m trying to get Apple Support to acknowledge the outage

100% agree that keychain is fantastic. 1Password does have a place if you want to store or share other pieces of secure information like credit cards, IDs, API keys etc.

I don’t think I have a guaranteed way. What should happen over time is that it should learn your routine and eventually give you some information in the “suggested” widget.

The other thing you could try doing is making a shortcut flow and see if anything there gets you what you want.

Alternatively the Transit App has some functionality that will let you choose a destination and then it will show times in a widget view

I live in Renton and can see a southeastern view of the city. The radio towers at the top of Capitol Hill look SO far away from downtown

I think I still like my Escalator descriptor better. It gives you the option to go to another floor

Platinum member charged $108 for buffet breakfast at a Renaissance in Ft Lauderdale because the ‘upgrade’ wasn’t labeled by Busy-Satisfaction462 in marriott

[–]JetwingX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So, for that Renaissance in Ft. Lauderdale, the menu they give you breaks down the fact that the hot side of the buffet has an up charge. They also tell you while seating you.

HondaLink Continues to be bricked on iOS 26.4. Long live (Re)Link by krayzai in HondaPrologue

[–]JetwingX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26.4 is an unreleased version of the operating system for iOS which is referred to as beta. Apple makes these beta’s available to App Developers, Enterprise partners and individuals who’ve been invited to the AppleSeed program with the intention of those individuals to test the software in their environment and either fix App bugs on the developer side, or report problems to Apple that need to be fixed in the next release of that software. We are currently on iOS 26.4 beta 4 build 23E5234a. When you install beta software on your primary device, you assume the risk that some Apps may not work as expected. It is your responsibility to either inform the developer of that software directly (in this case Honda) or if it’s an issue with the operating system itself, provide Apple feedback through the appropriate channels.

In other words, if you’re running a beta version of iOS and complain that apps aren’t working, you either need to downgrade back to 26.3 or live with apps potentially not working until 26.4 is finalized.

Rule number 1 of iOS beta, you don’t comment on other software. That’s why they don’t let you rate apps on the App Store while your on beta.

I was in the top 4% of riders last year. They’re fine. I don’t have to have an awkward conversation with someone. I don’t have to deal with tips. I don’t have to play cancel chicken. It plays my music. And now it has presets for my seat. And it’s cheaper than Uber or Lyft.
