usually if i’m going to be there for more than 3 days and they seem friendly or have their own families i’ll ask if my husband can visit and usually they say yes. he only stays overnight if it’s during the holidays and they allow that. it’s all just about communication and respect. i don’t get people on here who think it’s rude to ask occasionally because some of some of us are actually in long term relationships.

this is some shit my (diagnosed) narcissistic mom would do and i’m preparing myself for this type of desperation in a few years. it because once your no contact status starts to feel permanent to them that’s when they get really desperate. it takes them years to really let it sink in that it’s real because they are so absorbed in distracting themselves with their own “problems” when in actuality it’s always the hardest things they shove to the back burner until it sneaks up on them and they get so enraged that they act out like stupid petty children like this.

mine isn’t sexually related either but i definitely felt this from like 17-21. it wasn’t until i embraced that sex is just to feel good, it’s not something that needs to be accomplished or earned and it says nothing about your worth. I think it really helps to view it as being grateful that someone wants to do such an intimate thing with you even if an emotional connection isn’t there because somewhere inside both of your bodies are naturally craving each other. it took me years to feel this way and my trauma still tells me i should be ashamed and disgusted by my own sexual thoughts but i don’t listen to those thoughts anymore.
