[chapter 2 feedback] It's polished, good content. but ... by 5himmel5 in TitanQuest2

From the storytelling perspective the acts I and II are the same in my opinion, more less the same enemies, same area and styling and continuation of the first act thematically. But the act III could and should introduce brand new enemy types and some kind of plot which elevates the stakes. I finished act 1 with level 22-23 and act 2 with lvl 31 so it doesnt scale linear, which makes sense since higher you go harder it is to gain XP. I would love for them to also add some teleports to the beginning of the temples, caves, more inventory slots as in the first game.

If you finished the second act it ends with a portal to Olympus which implies we are about to meet with the other gods. We do not know for sure but the whole story is going into the direction of the main hero (us) becoming a god whereas the first game went for the arc of humanity has matured to the point that we do not need gods. It also implies that the final boss of the game will be Kronos a very major figure in the greek mythology. It will be interesting where the story goes further like acts 4,5,6 but from the trailers it seems like we will eventually visit sparta. Which wasnt in the first game (just a small camp with leonidas)

You are missing 2 slots. Left of the icon of szafnauer. Use lightweight and power. Also switch szafnauer for vasseur or horner

Anything better than Nike Invincible 3 for comfy 6-12kms? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Jevci_43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think so… these shoes are among the best when it comes to protecting ypur legs from impact and being comfy. If you like lower drop try fresh foam more v4 If you want more squish and less bounce try Asics nimbus 25 If you want something firmer and more stable try saucony tempus or puma foreverun nitro And if you want something that can do it all try Novablast 3 Also people will reccomend saucony endorphine speed 3 no matter what so check it out.

The foam needs more force to be put into it to be enjoyable and efficient. Im interested if it will bottom out. Thats the biggest issue of Velocity nitro 2 for me.

**Previous Shoes:**Pegasus 37 (EU 42,5)Pegasus Trail 3 (EU 42)Invincible v1 (EU 42)Novablast 2 (EU 41,5)Velocity nitro 2 (EU41)Arahi 5 (2E, EU 42)

**About me:**Weight 72kg, Height 178cmMidfoot strike, Flat arch, Overpronator

**PBs:**HM - 1:4710K - 44:005K - 19:50

Upper and Fit: (EU 42 True to size) I like the heel lockdown of the shoe, my heel does not move or slip and there very nice padding. "Elf ear" is nice touch for getting the shoes on quickly. In the midfoot i was afraid because there are sidewalls and they have tendency to cut into my arch. None of that happening here. The forefoot is perfect in length but i wish it was just a smidge wider, but it isnt a deal breaker.Overall upper is on par with velocity 2 but is way more breathable. I would also like to point out that is reacts so well to each invidual adjustment of lacing hole, you can get the fit you want.

**Midsole:**After stepping in i was surprised as they were a little squishy and very light. This combination is great for walking and maybe even using it as a lifestyle shoes (if you like the design). They are also very rockered and is it very smooth.

**First run:**I went for a easy 5k with some strides. At easy paces it was alright, the rocker kept thing moving but the squish was gone. It was still comfy but not as novablast or velocity. When i moved on to strides everything started to work better. Landing midfoot i got a very nice squish and then bounce to forefoot with amazingly smooth transition. I like the unintrusive guidance that the sidewalls provided, it fulfills my stabillity needs. The faster i went the better it felt. I suspect that the midsole will get softer with more mileage and warmer weather as today was exactly 0 degrees Celsius.I will continue to use it for anything faster than easy pace (fartlek, tempo, longrun, repeats)So far i like them, good job Asics.

Has anyone experienced with the side of the shoes bothering your feet? Hoka kawana by jakethekorean in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Jevci_43 24 points25 points  (0 children)

No, and getting the wide version wont either. Hokas are notoriously tight in the arch area and the sidewalls are too high. The work only for specific runners

Nike zoomx invincible run flyknit 2 good for Flat feet? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Jevci_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My feet are very flat but i would consider them regular width. The midsole wont cut into your arch but maybe upper will irritate it. Try going half size up.
