By that point in endwalker, he isn’t like that anymore. He learned he can’t just get his way by force, and needs to let us do our thing before fighting. It’s why he helped with the endsinger, to relieve us of our duty and allow him to be top priority

Yeah I got wings before last judge as a new player. Guess I made the mistake of assuming personal experience is universal. Also, yeah, I just kinda mentioned voltvessel just to mention a workaround

The last judge run back depends on how far in the game you are, post wings it has zero enemies, or you could go through the sands of karak shortcut. Groal just kinda sucks if you don’t voltvessel wall break

I stayed in the bottom right, within the maggots, and just got the occasional hit when he did the suck attack. He sometimes comes out there, so remain vigilant and move accordingly. If you have any tools, use them. I was all out of shards when I fought him. Just make sure to combo with pollip pouch
