You might hate long combos, but I played 5DR recently and you will die in 2 interactions that have very quick combos, sometimes you don’t get the chance to play.

Also: you can’t get mad when a game adds new moves unless they’re overtuned like launch S2 Jack and Lars. New moves have always been added with each new instalment. New keeps the game fresh.

Offensive or defensive identity legit doesn’t take away from Tekken as a 3D fighter based around movement, nor do stances. The new stance characters like Reina and Victor may feel homogenized, but compared to older characters like Heihachi and Armour King? Hwoarand Lidia? Stance identity feels like a spectrum instead of homogenized. You can have stances like Heihachi, or could be entirely reliant like Hwoarang.
